The hotel is located behind the walls of Bab Doukkala, down a narrow alley (the entrance is well lit for the convenience of guests.) Even when the main street has a local market, the hotel has a really calm atmosphere.

The Moucharbieh Hotel, from the outside, looks like any other house in the old town (Medina) of Marrakeshbut the interior is exceptional. The entrance is at the end of a narrow street but it’s well lit for the safety of guests. Both the hotel’s patios – in the Matisse and De la Croix wings of the building – are beautifully decorated. The 8 guestrooms feature comfortable and refined furniture, complimented by woodwork, white washed walls, hangings and tapestries. En suite bathrooms have baths and showers. Though the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, it offers meals on request, which can be taken in the patios or on the terrace.
